Professional certification focus
Suitable for structured certification and licensing preparation where learners repeatedly practise questions, review explanations and take mock tests.
Professional certification apps
Turn your professional certification, qualification or licensing exam content into a branded iOS app built for practice questions, mock exams, explanations, progress tracking and paid access.
Nurova is designed for organisations that already own valuable assessment content and want a focused mobile product without paying to invent every standard exam-app feature from scratch.
Standard white-label projects start from £4,500. Custom development is quoted separately.
How it works
Your subject expertise stays at the centre of the product. Nurova provides the reusable iOS exam-prep technology, while your organisation provides the brand, educational content and commercial direction.
Suitable for structured certification and licensing preparation where learners repeatedly practise questions, review explanations and take mock tests.
Use your own app name, logo, colours, question bank, explanations and App Store presence rather than putting your customers inside a generic marketplace.
Use established Nurova functionality for practice, scoring, explanations, progress and premium access instead of rebuilding those features from zero.
If your certification needs a specialist feature, question type or code change, we can estimate it and quote it separately before development begins.
Professional certification businesses usually have one asset that is far more valuable than the software around it: the knowledge required to help someone pass a specific exam. That knowledge often already exists as question banks, mock exams, explanations, curriculum maps, courses or membership content.
A dedicated app gives that intellectual property another way to reach customers. Candidates can practise in short sessions on their phone, take mock tests, revisit mistakes and keep the brand they already trust in front of them throughout the preparation period.
The traditional alternative is to commission a completely custom app. That can make sense for very large organisations, but it also means paying for routine functionality such as test screens, scoring, navigation, progress and premium-access logic to be designed and developed again. Nurova takes a more economical route: reuse the existing exam engine and spend new development money only where your programme actually needs something different.
A standard project begins with your existing structured content. We review the question bank and exam structure, agree how it maps to the platform, apply your app name, logo and colours, configure supported practice and assessment features and prepare the commercial access model agreed for the project.
The app is then tested and prepared for technical submission through your Apple Developer account. Your organisation remains the owner of the brand, educational content and customer relationship; Nurova remains the owner of the reusable technical platform underneath the product.
This separation is what allows the base project to start from £4,500 rather than being priced like an entirely new software product. It also makes future maintenance more manageable because improvements to the shared platform do not require every client application to become an unrelated codebase.
Standardised does not mean inflexible. Certification exams can differ in meaningful ways: unusual scoring, multiple sections, specialist question types, timed modules, different access rules or integrations with an existing business system. If one of those differences matters to your product, we can review it.
The commercial rule is simple. Branding, normal content configuration and supported Nurova features belong to the standard build. A requirement that needs new code or changes to the core platform is estimated and quoted separately before work starts.
That gives larger or more ambitious clients room to invest in customisation without forcing every client to pay custom-development prices. It also prevents a small fixed-fee project from quietly turning into months of unlimited development.
The cleanest starting point is a structured spreadsheet, CSV or database export with predictable fields for each question, its answer options, correct answer, explanation and category. If the exam has sections, difficulty levels, product tiers or mock-test groupings, those should be identified in the source data where possible.
PDFs and documents can still be useful source material, but inconsistent formatting usually creates manual preparation work. We can discuss content cleaning and restructuring as an additional service when necessary rather than hiding that labour inside the software fee.
Thinking about the long term also helps. If you expect to add new questions regularly, using the same agreed content structure for future updates makes ongoing maintenance much easier and reduces repetitive manual developer work.
Best fit
Need a feature that is not part of the standard Nurova platform? Small and specialist code changes can be scoped and priced separately before development starts.
Questions
Nurova is designed for structured exam-preparation and question-bank products. Good fits include professional certification, licensing, teacher certification, medical and nursing exam preparation, finance and accounting qualifications, real-estate licensing, compliance exams and similar assessment-led programmes.
The important factor is that the learning experience is built around questions, tests, explanations and repeated practice. If your product is mainly video lessons or live classes with very little assessment content, it may need a different type of platform.
The strongest fit is a business that already owns the questions, answers, explanations, mock exams or another structured assessment library. That is what allows us to reuse the Nurova technology efficiently instead of turning the project into a content-creation service.
If your material exists but needs substantial cleaning or restructuring before import, we can discuss that work separately and quote it before development begins.
Yes. That is the core use case. We review the content structure, agree the fields and categories needed for import, configure the app around the existing Nurova framework and test the resulting question and assessment flows.
Where your content and exam structure fit the existing framework, the same product can support focused question practice and test-style sessions. Specialist timing, section or scoring rules can be assessed as custom development if needed.
Yes. The Nurova framework is designed around practice, results, explanations and review. Your organisation supplies the educational explanation content and remains responsible for its subject accuracy.
Yes. The white-label service uses your app name, logo, colours and educational content. The app is submitted through your Apple Developer account so your organisation controls its App Store presence and commercial account.
Yes, where appropriate. Existing Nurova functionality can support free and premium content, subscriptions and in-app purchases subject to the agreed project scope and Apple's requirements.
Yes. Branding and standard configuration are part of the core service, and we are open to small or specialist code changes when they add real value to the project.
Anything outside the standard platform is scoped and priced separately before development starts. That could include a new question type, different scoring logic, specialist navigation, a new workflow, an integration or a significant visual change.
The standard Nurova service is not an open-ended bespoke build. We deliberately start from an existing exam-prep engine because that keeps the base project faster, more predictable and more economical than rebuilding common functionality from zero.
However, we are not rigidly opposed to custom development. If a client has a valuable requirement and the budget to fund it, we can review the change and quote it separately.
You retain your brand, certification content, question bank and customer relationships. Nurova retains the reusable underlying software platform and source code, which is licensed for use in your branded app under the agreed commercial terms.
No. Source-code transfer is not included in the standard white-label service. The value of the model is that you can use the established platform in your branded app without buying or rebuilding the reusable core technology.
Standard white-label projects start from £4,500. Final pricing depends on content volume and readiness, branding requirements and any custom development outside the standard platform. Ongoing licensing and maintenance are quoted with the project.
If you already own a question bank, mock exams or certification content, we can tell you whether it fits the Nurova platform and what any optional custom work would cost.
