Reuse existing content
Bring the questions, answers, explanations and categories you already own instead of rewriting the product for a new platform.
Question bank app development
If you have already invested in creating hundreds or thousands of practice questions, Nurova can help you turn that content asset into a dedicated iPhone and iPad product under your own brand.
You do not need to pay to reinvent standard testing software. We start with the existing Nurova exam-prep framework, configure your content and branding, and quote any specialist code changes separately.
Standard white-label projects start from £4,500. Custom development is quoted separately.
How it works
The educational value sits in the content you have built. Our job is to give that content a polished mobile home with the practice, testing, review and commercial infrastructure it needs.
Bring the questions, answers, explanations and categories you already own instead of rewriting the product for a new platform.
Use the Nurova framework to turn a static bank into repeatable mobile practice and exam-style sessions.
Use your own app name, visual identity, educational content and Apple Developer account.
Need a special question type, scoring rule or workflow? Extra code can be estimated and quoted separately.
Many education businesses already own the most expensive part of an exam-prep product without thinking of it as software: a large, organised bank of questions and explanations created through years of subject expertise. That content may currently live in spreadsheets, PDFs, a course platform, a membership site or an internal database.
A dedicated app gives that asset another commercial format. Instead of asking learners to log into a full website whenever they want to practise, you can offer a focused product designed around answering questions, seeing results, reviewing explanations and returning regularly.
The white-label model is especially useful because it avoids paying an agency to recreate common exam-app infrastructure from zero. We reuse the technical foundation and concentrate the project budget on your brand, your content and the few areas where your product genuinely needs something different.
A raw question bank is not automatically an app. The first step is to understand how the content is structured: what counts as a question, which answer is correct, what explanation belongs to it, how questions are categorised and which items should appear in different tests or access tiers.
Once that structure is clear, repeatable import is far more efficient than manual entry. That is why we prefer agreed structured formats. It reduces content errors, makes testing easier and makes future updates more manageable.
If the source material is inconsistent, duplicated or spread across several documents, we can still discuss the project. The difference is that significant cleaning and restructuring is content-preparation work and is quoted separately rather than being absorbed into the standard app fee.
Not every question bank behaves the same way. Some businesses need image questions, specialist scoring, several exam sections, unusual randomisation, prerequisites, adaptive behaviour or integrations with other systems. We do not pretend all of those requirements are automatically included in a standard white-label package.
Instead, we separate the reusable part from the bespoke part. The existing Nurova framework covers the normal practice, testing, scoring, explanation, progress and premium-access foundation. A requirement outside that foundation is reviewed with the developer and quoted separately before implementation.
That gives you flexibility without turning the entire project into an open-ended custom build. It also means clients with larger budgets can invest in genuinely useful differentiation while smaller projects can stay close to the efficient base product.
If your exam changes regularly, tell us early. The best long-term setup is one where new content can be prepared in the same agreed format as the initial question bank. That makes later imports more predictable and helps avoid developer time being wasted on repetitive manual cleanup.
Initial content import is part of the scoped project. Larger subsequent content additions, major restructuring or new content models can be priced separately. The aim is to keep maintenance clear rather than promising unlimited content administration inside a small monthly platform fee.
Best fit
Need a feature that is not part of the standard Nurova platform? Small and specialist code changes can be scoped and priced separately before development starts.
Questions
Yes. That is one of the clearest uses of the Nurova platform. If you already own structured questions, answer options, correct answers and explanations, we can review the content and map it into a branded iOS app.
The more consistent your source data is, the more efficiently the project can be configured and tested.
A spreadsheet, CSV or structured database export is usually the easiest starting point because each question can be matched to consistent fields such as category, answer options, correct answer and explanation.
Documents and PDFs may still be usable, but if they require manual cleaning or restructuring before import, that preparation is normally scoped separately.
Question volume is reviewed during scoping. Nurova is intended for substantial structured banks, but the practical implementation depends on how the content is organised, whether it includes media and whether the app needs different product tiers, categories or test structures.
Yes, where your content includes clear categories and the desired structure fits the existing platform. More specialised grouping or navigation can also be reviewed as paid custom work.
Where the existing Nurova test framework fits the project, the same content can support focused practice and test-style sessions. If your assessment uses unusual timing, scoring or section rules, those requirements are reviewed separately.
Yes. Explanation and review functionality is part of the kind of exam-prep experience the Nurova platform is designed to support. Your organisation supplies the educational explanation content.
Yes, where appropriate. The app can support free and premium access, subscriptions or in-app purchases within the agreed scope and subject to Apple's requirements.
Yes. The standard project starts from the existing Nurova interface and feature set because that is what keeps the base build efficient. Small or specialist changes can be scoped and priced separately.
If you want a major redesign, new question type, admin dashboard, integration or workflow that changes the core product, we can assess it as additional custom development rather than pretending it is included in the standard fee.
You retain ownership of your educational content, brand and customer relationships. Nurova retains the reusable underlying software framework and source code that powers the branded app.
Not as part of the standard white-label service. The project licenses the Nurova platform for use in your branded app; transfer of the underlying reusable source code is not included.
Standard white-label projects start from £4,500. Final pricing depends on the condition and volume of the question bank, branding requirements and any custom development. Ongoing platform licensing and maintenance are quoted with the project.
If you already own a question bank, mock exams or certification content, we can tell you whether it fits the Nurova platform and what any optional custom work would cost.
