Your brand stays front and centre
Your app name, logo, colours and educational identity are applied to the product so learners interact with your organisation rather than a generic third-party quiz marketplace.
White label exam app
If you already have a question bank, mock exams or certification content, Nurova can turn that existing educational asset into a branded iPhone and iPad app without asking you to commission an entirely new platform from scratch.
Your learners see your brand and your content. Behind the scenes, the app uses Nurova's reusable exam-prep technology for the standard features already supported by the platform. That gives established education businesses a faster route into mobile while keeping ownership of their brand, content and customer relationship.
Standard white-label projects start from £4,500. Custom development is quoted separately.
How it works
White-label development reduces duplicated engineering while still giving your organisation its own branded app and App Store presence. The standard project focuses on the parts that should genuinely be unique to your business rather than charging you to rebuild common exam functionality again.
Your app name, logo, colours and educational identity are applied to the product so learners interact with your organisation rather than a generic third-party quiz marketplace.
Use the exam questions, mock tests, correct answers and explanations your organisation already owns. We agree an import structure and configure that content inside the app instead of asking you to recreate it manually.
The app is submitted through your Apple Developer account so you retain control of the listing, commercial account and provider identity while Nurova handles the agreed technical delivery work.
A white-label base does not mean every app must be identical. Useful specialist changes can be reviewed and quoted separately, giving you flexibility without losing the cost advantage of starting from an existing platform.
White-label software is sometimes misunderstood as little more than changing a logo. That is not the model we are aiming for. The useful part of white-label development is that expensive, repeatable technical infrastructure already exists, while the client-specific product still reflects the organisation that owns the educational material. Your learners should recognise your app, your exam content and your brand immediately.
The reusable Nurova core provides the common exam-preparation technology. Your project then adds the agreed brand configuration, question bank, test content and commercial settings. This division lets us spend development time on genuine differences rather than recreating the same testing engine for every new organisation.
For many exam-prep companies, the most valuable asset is not the software; it is the years of work already invested in writing questions, explanations, mock exams, curriculum structures and teaching material. If that content already attracts customers, building a mobile app can be a way to create an additional product from the same intellectual asset.
Instead of starting with a blank software brief, we start by asking what you already have and how learners currently use it. A question bank stored in a spreadsheet, database, website or learning platform may already contain most of the educational value needed for a focused exam-prep app. The technical project is then about packaging that value into a reliable native mobile experience.
The standard white-label project deliberately reuses the existing Nurova interface and supported features. That is what makes the work repeatable and allows standard projects to start from £4,500. If every client began with a completely blank design and unlimited feature list, it would no longer be a white-label product and the economics would look like conventional custom software development.
At the same time, we do not want a rigid system that turns away a good project because it needs one useful code change. New question types, specialist scoring, extra workflows or other client-specific requirements can be assessed and priced separately. The client knows the additional cost before work starts, and the base package stays protected from open-ended scope.
The client's organisation retains its brand, content and App Store business relationship. Nurova retains the reusable software framework that powers the standard product. An ongoing platform licence and maintenance arrangement can cover continued use of the framework and normal technical upkeep after launch.
That ongoing relationship should not be confused with unlimited development. A new custom feature, a major redesign, a large new content migration or a specialist integration is a separate piece of work and can be quoted separately. This makes the maintenance relationship sustainable while still giving clients a clear path to expand the app later.
Best fit
Need a feature that is not part of the standard Nurova platform? Small and specialist code changes can be scoped and priced separately before development starts.
Questions
A white-label exam app is a mobile exam-preparation product built on reusable underlying technology but presented under your own brand. Your learners see your app name, logo, colours, content and App Store listing, while the standard testing and progress features are powered by the Nurova platform.
It is best suited to organisations that already own valuable exam content but do not want to fund a completely bespoke mobile platform from scratch. Typical clients include exam-prep businesses, professional certification providers, education publishers, teacher-certification providers, licensing-exam educators and medical or nursing exam-prep companies.
The strongest projects start with a structured question bank, mock exams, correct answers, explanations and topic or category information. We agree a practical import format before development begins. If your content needs substantial cleaning, restructuring or manual extraction before it can be imported, that work can be scoped separately.
Yes. The app can use your own app name, logo, brand colours and educational identity. The aim is to create a dedicated product that belongs visibly to your organisation rather than a generic marketplace listing where your learners interact with another company's brand.
The app is submitted through your Apple Developer account, so your organisation controls the App Store listing and commercial account. Nurova handles the technical build and submission work included in the project, but your organisation remains the content provider and account holder for its branded app.
Yes. The standard package keeps the project efficient by reusing existing Nurova functionality, but we are open to smaller or specialist changes where they make sense. Client-specific development is scoped and priced separately so custom requests do not turn the base package into unlimited bespoke work.
Potentially, yes. If your exam requires a question type, scoring method or workflow that is not already supported by the core platform, we can review the requirement and estimate the development work separately. That gives you flexibility without requiring a completely new application architecture from the beginning.
Yes, where appropriate. Existing Nurova functionality can support free and premium content, subscriptions and in-app purchases subject to the agreed scope and Apple requirements. We can review whether your current business model translates cleanly into a mobile product or whether a slightly different structure would work better.
No. The standard commercial service licenses the Nurova platform for use within your branded app; it does not transfer the reusable core source code or underlying intellectual property. You keep your own brand, educational content, customer relationships and commercial account.
Standard white-label projects start from £4,500. The final price depends on the state and volume of the content, branding requirements, commercial setup and any custom development outside the existing Nurova platform. Additional code changes are priced separately before work begins.
A branded app can include an ongoing platform licence and maintenance arrangement so the Nurova technology continues to be supported over time. Routine platform upkeep is different from new feature development, major redesign work or repeated content-import projects, which can be scoped separately when needed.
Yes. In many cases that is the most sensible route. A client can launch using the proven standard platform, learn how its audience uses the app, and then decide whether additional paid development is commercially worthwhile. That avoids paying for speculative custom features before there is evidence they are needed.
If you already own a question bank, mock exams or certification content, we can tell you whether it fits the Nurova platform and what any optional custom work would cost.
